Now it seems the project is finally rumbling into gear with the news that Cooper is setting up a new production banner with his long-time assistant, Weston Middleton, to tackle the Hyperion adaptation. Cooper has been rumoured to have been involved with an adaptation of Dan Simmons’ Hugo Award-winning novel since 2015. Whilst Bradley Cooper is currently working on the production Maestro with Netflix, as part of his first-look deal with the streaming platform it seems his long-mooted adaptation of Hyperion may finally coming to fruition.
